Thanks for your attention!
Hello! My name is Camilla Achler and I’m graduated in Graphic Design – Comics and Illustration at R.U.F.A. (Rome University of Fine Arts). I was fascinated by history, with a special interest in the ancient one, since my childhood and, in how the storytelling can breaths life in an artistic project regardless of the medium.
In fact, my bachelor thesis “Dracomachia”, revolves around the idea of how an interactive tale (a.k.a. a videogame), offers an interesting way to experimenting the art of telling a story.

Who am I ?
Graphic Design work
Here you can find a compilation of my graphic design works. All of them, are university projects with specific requests. I chose to share what I consider the best of my catalogue.
The "Folding" Poster
A “Folding Poster”, as the name suggest, is a flexible piece of paper designed in a way where each part contains a surprise.
For example: a QR CODE linked to a web page, a joke or a riddle, the synopsis of the product ("Persona 4", in my case) and, when you unfold everything, as last reward, you’ll find a big illustration on the backside of the poster.
"Istituto Giapponese di Cultura"
These Posters were commissioned by the “Istituto giapponese di cultura” in Rome ( that is part of the “Japan Foundation” ).
The R.U.F.A. was asked to provide proposals for advertising some cultural events that should be held that year, like the “Kyogen”.
However, due the arrival of the Pandemic, the promotional campaign never happened.
Pescara Jazz
The “Pescara Jazz Festival” is an international music exhibition that is held in Italy.
The first edition was inaugurated in 1969 and, the idea behind the project, was to create a visual rebranding of the manifestation itself.
Inspired by the history of the Jazz’s music, me and my colleague, created a new visual identity where the key word was "the movement”.
The following photos are my part of the project.

Comic pages

I enjoy working with ink both digitally that traditionally.
